Book Description
For years after his wife's death, Dan Nichols, salesman, pilot, and father,
cruises through life on autopilot. Having sold his business at an early age, he
grows tired of doing nothing but play golf. When his good friend James "Stump"
Reynolds, an aircraft broker, asks him to deliver an airplane to the owner of
Intermont Mining and Supply Company in Anchorage, Alaska, Dan jumps at the
chance for an adventure.
Soon after Dan arrives in Anchorage, he meets Jessica Lane, the beautiful vice
president of Intermont. When the president of Intermont offers Dan a position as
chief pilot of the firm, Dan eagerly takes the job and looks forward to becoming
better acquainted with Jessica. But trouble looms.
One of Dan's pilots decides to get rich by helping a friend deliver nuclear
components to an anonymous connection and steals an Intermont airplane to make
the delivery. The commander of a North Korean submarine receives orders to
retrieve the hijacked nuclear material. Suddenly, Dan is thrust into the middle
of an international incident that resounds all the way to the White House. Full
of intrigue and suspense, The Canadian Connection is a non-stop thrill ride!
